Reading faster without skipping the answer

Speed comes from knowing where to look, not from moving your eyes faster.
The usual mistake
Many learners try to read faster word by word. This rarely works, because the limit is how fast you understand.
What works
- Read the title and first lines to know the topic.
- Mark keywords in the questions before reading the passage.
- Look for paragraph structure. Topic sentences often tell you where the answer is.
- Do not reread a paragraph you have already understood.
